This policy sets out how BuildEasy’s services may and may not be used. It applies to everyone who uses buildeasy.ng or works with us — customers, vendors, artisans, drivers and site contacts.

Using our services means you accept this policy.

Who may use BuildEasy

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract. You must give us accurate information about yourself and your business, and keep it current. You must not use someone else’s identity, or hold yourself out as representing a business you are not authorised to represent.

What you must not do

You must not use BuildEasy to:

• obtain, sell or move stolen, smuggled, counterfeit or illegally sourced goods
• misrepresent who you are, what you sell, or what you are qualified to do
• place an order you do not intend or are not able to pay for
• launder money, or disguise the source or destination of funds
• deal in materials that do not meet the standards represented, or substitute lower-grade materials for those specified
• threaten, harass, abuse or intimidate anyone, including our staff and other users
• interfere with the site, copy it, scrape it, or attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours
• do anything unlawful under Nigerian law

Additional rules for vendors

If you supply materials through BuildEasy:

• list only materials you actually hold or can reliably obtain
• quote your real selling price — the price you would give any customer standing in your shop
• do not inflate prices because an order comes through BuildEasy, and do not offer us a price that depends on us concealing it from the customer
• honour quantities and specifications as quoted, and tell us immediately if you cannot
• do not represent yourself as owned by, employed by, or partnered with BuildEasy beyond your actual relationship with us

Additional rules for artisans

If you offer services through BuildEasy:

• represent only trades and skills you genuinely hold
• disclose it if you intend to send someone else to carry out work you have been engaged for
• quote honestly for the work described, and raise variations before carrying them out, not after
• carry out work to a competent standard and in line with what was agreed

Photographs and content

Photographs you upload must be of your own shop, stock or completed work. Do not upload images taken from the internet, from other businesses, or from projects you did not work on. Do not upload images of people who have not agreed to appear.

We may remove any content that breaches this policy.

Reporting misuse

If you believe someone is misusing BuildEasy, tell us at support@buildeasy.ng or +234 705 736 1208. Give us as much detail as you can, including any order reference.

What happens if this policy is breached

Depending on what has happened, we may warn you, remove content, suspend or cancel an order, remove your profile from BuildEasy, end our relationship with you, or report the matter to the police or other authorities. Where a breach has cost someone money, we will cooperate with them and with any lawful investigation.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed. Continuing to use BuildEasy after a change means you accept the updated policy.
